Quitting while I build it.

I'm GJ (Gaurav Joshi). I've spent twenty years in strategy and commercial roles across energy, consulting and finance, with an INSEAD MBA somewhere along the way. None of it helped me put the vape down.

On 19 October 2026 at 5:40pm I left my last vape on a bar table and went home feeling like a hero. A couple of hours later the craving arrived. I had a pack of nicotine gum that had been sitting in my bag for a month. I chewed it like it owed me money, felt sick, and decided it would never work. (It does. I was chewing it wrong.)

I'd tried the apps. They counted days. None of them helped at 11pm. So I'm building the one I needed, and quitting while I build it.
